See pull rates for Pokemon Stellar Crown’s rarest cards

The folks at TCGplayer opened tons of packs from the Pokemon Trading Card Game’s newest set so you don’t have to.

Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown released Friday as a standard set, meaning collectors have the usual array of booster boxes, elite trainer boxes and special collection boxes from which to choose. So consider this data if you’re weighing whether to keep ripping versus finishing that master set with singles.

TCGplayer opened more than 8,000 packs — more than enough to make this a significant sample size — to assemble the numbers below.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet pull rates

The chances of pulling a certain type of rare card hardly differs in Stellar Crown as compared to other recent Scarlet & Violet sets. However, the likelihood you land a specific chase is higher.

That’s because as compared to Temporal Forces (218 total cards, 56 secret rares) and Twilight Masquerade (226 total cards, 59 secret rares), Stellar Crown is a smaller 175-card set with 33 secret rares.

That might ultimately impact whether the early chase card, the Special Illustration Rare Terapagos ex, can hold its early $130-plus price point. But you’re more likely to land that heavy hitter out of a pack than, say, Twilight Masquerade’s super card, the SIR Greninja ex.

Here’s a comparison of TCGplayer’s data across the last three standard Scarlet & Violet sets:
